Veteran nonprofit strategist joins the BoardWalk team
--leadership roles with Porter Novelli & CARE a major asset to clients
Kathy Bremer has spent her entire career raising aspirations in corporate, nonprofit and community settings. She is known for her tenacious pursuit of excellence, whether on behalf of clients, colleagues or the larger community.
Kathy joins BoardWalk after 8 years as Partner and Atlanta Managing Director with Porter Novelli, where she led a ten-fold growth in revenues and profits. Previously, she served for 7 years as Senior Vice President of External Relations for CARE, one of the world's leading humanitarian organizations, managing strategic planning, marketing, fundraising and corporate partnerships. Announcing BoardWalk's
Fourth Annual Governance Fellowships at Harvard
Governing for Nonprofit Excellence (GNE) is the program Harvard Business School designed for board chairs and other seasoned trustees destined for significant board leadership roles in their respective nonprofits. For the fourth year, BoardWalk Consulting is pleased to offer up to six fellowships for this compelling program, conducted December 2-5, 2007 at Harvard.
Our selection criteria are straightforward, and just a simple email is required to apply or nominate a nonprofit board member you respect. The deadline for preliminary consideration is September 10; the 2007 Fellows will be announced on October 17.
Previous recipients have called the Harvard experience "transformational." A summary of the GNE program, key dates and application/nomination details are available via the link below.
